Although known mostly for vehicle GPS tracking and fleet management solutions, HandsOn also showcased the Ototrak jetski tracking system. OtoTrak is a cloud-based system for tracking and remotely controlling personal watercraft like jet skis. It consists of a hardware module installed in the watercraft that communicates with a cloud service, allowing users to monitor their location, manage operations like speed limits and engine status, and set up “safe-ride” zones via a smartphone app. This system is designed to enhance safety and convenience, particularly for rental businesses. It also includes collision detection and safari mode to ensure flexibility and peace of mind.
HandsOn Systems’ participation at this prestigious event underlines our ongoing commitment to advancing maritime technology through innovation and connectivity. As Malta’s yachting sector continues to expand, myBoat stands as a testament to our vision of merging technology with maritime tradition — making boating smarter, safer, and more sustainable.
