Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled senior software engineer who is fluent and experienced with back end programming whilst also comfortable with a degree of front-end programming. As a senior software engineer you are responsible for leading, architecting and implementing web and cloud-oriented solutions that are high performant, reliable and secure. In addition, you are required to work within a team and coordinate technical efforts effectively.

Senior Software Engineers will be required to see out a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail.

What does a selection process look like?

We will contact short-listed candidates for an interview to cover both HR and technical
aspects related to the respective position. The interview will take about an hour. If the
interview goes well, there will be a technical evaluation. Depending on the role there could
be a technical assignment either covered through a second interview or through an offline
technical exercise which would need to be submitted by a stipulated date. After that task,

Job Description

As the Lead QA Engineer, you will work collaboratively to define, develop, maintain and deliver software testing requirements for our clients’ programme of work. In addition to delivery responsibilities, the Lead QA Engineer will also act as an advocate for QA best practices and lead initiatives to improve test processes, extend the use of tools/frameworks and support the development of test team members. As the Test Lead you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the testing of software produced across a specific test phase, technical domain, or product set, ensuring quality standards are met for any changes deployed.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for initiating and ensuring the technical and delivery-facing leadership for all aspects of QA engineering.
  • Initiating test automation and test engineering practices, including aspects of ‘Software development in test’.
  • Reading, writing, and debugging code and supporting the refactoring of existing test frameworks while supporting other members of the team to do the same.
  • Initiating the use and reuse of a broad range of tools, including open source and cloud based.
  • Initiating the delivery of test engineering, typically using agile and CI/CD methods including influencing how the teams develop user stories and acceptance criteria, typically deploying Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD).

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled senior software engineer who is fluent and experienced with back end programming whilst also comfortable with a degree of front-end programming.
